Shrek 2 (también conocido como Shrek 2: The Game) es un videojuego de acción y aventuras de 2004 publicado por Activision, basado en la película DreamWorks Animation del mismo nombre. El juego fue desarrollado por Vicarious Visions para Game Boy Advance.
La historia de Shrek 2 sigue una trama similar a la de la película. Shrek y Fiona están en un viaje al Reino de Far Far Away para visitar a los padres de Fiona. Los suegros de Shrek no están contentos de que un ogro crudo esté casado con su hija Fiona y se produzca la batalla por la aceptación. El juego cubre cosas que no se muestran en la película. Los elementos de la trama se entregan principalmente a través de una interfaz de libro de cuentos (texto e ilustraciones) que se muestra antes de cada nivel.
La versión para Game Boy Advance es un desplazamiento lateral con gráficos que se asemejan a la serie Donkey Kong Country, desarrollada por Vicarious Visions. El juego se divide en cinco capítulos con un nivel de bonificación si el jugador recoge todas las monedas de cada nivel. La historia del juego es una versión comprimida de la película en la que se basa. Los personajes jugables son Shrek, Donkey, Cat in Boots, Human Shrek y Gingerbread Man, cada uno con su propio conjunto único de habilidades.
Cada versión de Shrek 2 recibió críticas mixtas a positivas de los críticos, a excepción del port para PC. GameRankings y Metacritic le otorgaron una puntuación de 72,56% y 72 sobre 100 para la versión de Game Boy Advance; En los Estados Unidos, la versión de Game Boy Advance de Shrek 2 vendió 700.000 copias y ganó $ 18 millones en agosto de 2006. Durante el período comprendido entre enero de 2000 y agosto de 2006, fue el 35º juego más vendido lanzado para Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS o PlayStation Portable en ese país.
